                proboscis that they use to suck nutrients out of invertebrates. There are around 1,000 known species. Most species are 1-10 millimeters in length, although there are species with a legspan of 30 or more inches  found in deep ocean environments.  Sea spiders are found from the intertidal zone to depths of more than 20,000 feet! Sea spiders don't swim, they walk along the ocean floor.  |
