| Craseonycteridae - kitti's hog-nosed batsThere is only one species in this family found in southwestern Thailand and Myanmar. Kitti's hog-nosed bat is the smallest bat in the world. It is about the size of a bumblebee and is sometimes called the bumblebee bat! It has a pig-like snout and no tail. It lives in small groups deep in limestone caves. It catches insects in the air and also eats them off of the foliage of trees.  World Status Key
